The message is clear: Consumers overwhelmingly prefer to receive bills and statements on paper rather than electronically, according to a new survey of more than 2,600 people by the non-profit Consumer Action.  More than three-quarters (78%) of those who receive bills by mail said they review the transactions printed on paper statements. Of those who receive bills electronically, only 43 percent—less than half—said that they go online to review their transaction details.
